New Google Trends

Google Trends began 2 years ago as an entertaining but limted way to indicate what the the world is thinking about over time.

Now Google is giving users the abillity to search across terms in the database and instantly chart how they compare to other search terms. The underlying numerical data is then exported into a common spreadsheet to compare with other data.
