Impressions - Real visitors or Robot crawler

How do we know that the page views or impressions that we are getting are robots or a real visitors' views. Any way to differentiate this and find out?

I think i heard some software can detect between robot crawler or real visitor. But i'm not sure about that name of software. I don't sure we need to buy it or not. But i never see its free software. Try to search at google first.

Just check out the stats (AW) in your hoisting cPANEL.

It gives a detailked report of all the visitors. Unique visitors, hits, bots visited, search engine spiders ect.
Thats a very good tool to monitor and differenciate your traffic

Yap. I forget about AWstat at cpanel. but too bad. I cannot open my cpanel. Seems have problem. Every time i login right now, they will said the they cannot find the license..

May be in that case you need to contact your hosting provider. They are the ones who have controll over it. They can definately help you there.

Dont understand why the license thing is popping up in your account there.

But can you acess your root folder using FTP

I already contact and still waiting the response. Some others hosting provider also have a same problem. All show that cpanel not reach the license. NOthing i can do with that. Just keep waiting. But i can use ftp software like filezilla to upload some files from that way.

Oh bad luck there then. By the way what version of cPanel do you use. Cos i never had any such problem and even no its working fine for me without any problems. In that case dont think that you can do any thing else other than waiting.

For your information, its only happen in my country. The problem come from our datacenter. I believe all country might be fine. So, its doesn't matter which version of cpanel i use..Yap. We all keep waiting like crazy now.

If your running something like wordpress (only for bloggers really) there are a number of plugins you can run which allow you to view real time visitors and it actually is nice because it shows you how many bots have crawled the site. Shame that spam bots still hang around lol.

Lol bad luck with you there in that case. cPanel does help a lot in site mangement and monitoring. Without it you are definately missing some really good things.
