I saw some statistics about the as well as avertising reveue for search engines. Microsoft was in third and Yahoo in second. Both were far away from Google.

I think all people already know about that. But at alexa, yahoo always come at first place and youtube and google always chase yahoo. So, its race between google and yahoo. I like to see this race..

Both still have a lot of catching to do compared with Google. Let's see whether the Microsoft's Yahoo takeover deal will materialize. No 2 and NO 3 combined together to challenge the number 1

That will be very interesting, it would be nice to see google get knocked down a peg or 2, but tbh do you really want microsoft owning another company... its just crazy

Maybe after that, they will really consider being more lenient towards their Adsense service if they are no longer number 1. Sometimes being at Number 1# spot without much challenge gives them the dominance and do whatever they want. I hope if Microsoft takes over, the YPN can be improved as well to be on par with Adsense.

Combined and try to beat Google? Let see if its happen or not. I hope its never happen. Looks like microsoft really have big money to buy any company. Why not they try to buy Google? hehe..

Buy Google? Do you know how much the share is worth? In a business deal, you always look for the best price and Yahoo at the moment is the best option for Microsoft.

Hehe. I know the price will be crazy number and about the share, of course its something we hard to imagine. But if they really interested to do that. Why not right? Yap. I agree that Yahoo Is the best Option..

So any news or update anybody has heard about the takeover plan? Maybe you can share it here. I haven't heard any fresh news since.

Still not heard any news. But i believe Yahoo will refuse to merged with Microsoft. Maybe they laugh to microsoft in their meeting room now.

May be thats true. Right from the begining Yahoo seemed to have least intrest in the deal.

But not to forget what Microsoft is! They do have the capacity to buy Yahoo at any price if they are really intrested. I think they just were looking to make a profitable deal.

WHat can i see, Microsoft just try to do something really can make more people know about them. Looks like they try to become famous by buying Yahoo and take advantages. Its just fine. Its what big company need to do when the times come.
