Google and Spam!!!!!

Lol I know its kinda funny heading and Google is know to have the best spam protection. But then these days what I observe is that I get loads of spam mails into my spam section.

Good thing about google that it does screen them and place them in spam folder, but I never used to get so much earlier.

Do you have a similar experience?? If yes what do you feel is the reason behind it???

Is it because that their fighting systems have deteriorated or fallen behind or is it because they made if free for all to sign up unlike earlier when it was only on invitations.

Spam is just that, it will be around forever in different forms, it sucks and we cant get rid of it

I use MSN, and I seemingly never get spam
I think it's because I don't sign up for a lot of random stuff, so I don't get random spammage of my email.

I think it's normal that these things happen. It's not that there are more spam happening. When the account is new, most probably nobody else knows about it, but when you start using especially have paypal account attach, then more spams will come flowing in.

I had a strange experience with Yahoo's spam filtering. I got 2 copies of the same spam but one copy goes into the inbox while the others into the spam folder. One thing I notice about Yahoo's mail filter is that it can be quite unreliable.

Yahoo!!! Lol its know to be the best friend of SPAM and spammers. So no point in considering it as good.

Hey but lately I did notice that yahoo is trying to cut of spam to a very very great extent. Even their chat asks me to enter captcha before logging into any room. But then there are still spammers in the chat with those cams stuff

To be fair to Yahoo, YahooMail is pretty decent and I am using it as my primary email account.
