Default Google site map???

Does forums have a sitemap for them?? If so how does it work cos the content or matter would be changing too frequently.

How about coding something like Random Sitemap which changes instantly by itself when the content changes may be something using Mysql database. Is that posible?

Have you seen something like this i mean something like random sitemaps??

It is very easy to create a sitemap if you go to Gsitecrawler.com - just do a search for GSitecrawler. It is a free site map generator and you can submit the site map to google in just a few easy steps. I beleive that forums can have a site map and the fact that things change all the time is actually good because the bots access the sites all the time and if they don't see change then they will not access the site as often. If they see change, they come right back, sometimes in only a couple days. I make a google sitemap and submit it every month. I use the Gsitecrawler. Never a problem. I do beleive though that you would have to be the owner of the forum to be able to upload the sitemap to Google.

Geee...I'm sure about that especially if you have forum that have the content ever changing. I guess to update it, you have to resubmit it manually. As you said, there maybe something like MySQL to do it for you.

There are actually mods (for phpbb and SMF atleast) that auto-magically generate google compatible site maps. This means as your content (forums, topics, posts and static pages) are updated, so is the google site map!

Default Site map

I think a site map would be quite useful, but it must be update every time there's a changes. It would be helpful for newcomers.

Hey maybe you can try the SMF sitemap suggested by Darcy above. I've just tried it recently and it's pretty easy to use.
