Google Media Server
Google has entered the living room by introducing a new feature to its Google desktop program that can help get content from the Internet on to TV sets.
The Google Media server is a software that is meant to run all the time on your home PC. It can send video, audio and photos to any other device on your home network that uses Universal Plug and Play standard. Google can also pass video from YouTube and photos stored on Picasa Web albums from Internet to TV. With more content , more users and more devices, Google is adding more advertising to YouTube.
