Google are making Directories internal pages PR Zero

Looks like google is getting strict these days. Nowadays directories which used to command high PR rank in their internal pages are now relegated to PR 0. That way, we can't rely anymore on directories for providing good backlinks. It's getting harder and harder with googles

Hmmm seems like google is all set to ban unethical ways to get backlinks and PR.

Main reason of that would be the selling links, they seemed to be against that from quite a while now.

And because of that, I've found that I've lost almost a whole bunch of backlinks coming from these directories. It's very discouraging to see it happening.

Most probably that will happen. Directories would be probably out of business in couple of days more untill other search engins like yahoo and msn still keep on giving them prefrence.

But then still the owners would be at a loss for sure.

Google are now shooting themselves in the foot, its not long until the will turn around and say "no ad's apart from adsense or we will 0 you".

Soon enough people will get angery and bored of google and move onto a new SE

Maybe they want to subdue the amount of directories popping up each day....Not sure. Anyway, when I think of it, why need to submit now when all they do is to zero the internal pages....Geeezzzz..
