Yeah, did you notice on the first design? I think it was quite ugly. It looks like a pair of goggle to make up the double "o". I'm glad they choose the one they have today.

I think I prefrr the new one, but maybe in another one or two years, if they continue to expand in the internet business, they will change the logo again. Anyway, I think this one is fit the website, and become an icon for Google.

Google always go for simplicity. Nice, plain and simple logo which I think reflects their motto on whatever they do. Just some alphabets to spell the word Google and different colors.

That was actually a good little read, at least you know the company wanted to look nice neat and friendly from almost the word go. Do love their little pic's sometimes

I don't know that before until today. Google has change very much to become user friendly. I prefer google current logo and look nicer.

I am pretty sure their logo has the least to do with google's success

Hey just about that day there was once about the logo being changed to commemorate Alexander Graham bell's birthday. I think it was like early of the month. Google is always full of surprises.
