Default Google doing away with Contextual Advertising??

Do you guys think it is better if google do away with Contextual Advertising and let's us decide which ad we want to choose for our website? Instead of them deciding for us, why not let us decide what we want. There are many PPC out there which let's us make a choice but why not Google. Just a suggestion.

And don't somebody start come telling us and giving advice or sort. I just thought of this as something new and interesting so that we can have the "what if" active participation and discussion.

No problem in using Contextual Advertising by google but they should also stick for the normal ones too.

The only draw back I think if its contextual then people would only preffer to display high paying adds and low paying would be rejected in those case even it would work vice versa too from the advertiser point of view.

But i think google preety impressive with whatever it is cos unlike bidvertiser or other who rely only on catagories google bot goes through the contend and displays adds available.

Thats the best part of it that the adds are very rarely irrelevent to your content.

I think you got a point to that. However, it sometimes will kind of annoying to find out irrelevant ads on your website. My site has been indexed by Google long ago but until today, there seems to be like you could be seeing 1 ads not related to your content popping out.

If you are getting any irrelevent adds means that there is one or the other keyword out there which attracts that add. Cos without the keyword or content none of its add would display. Youll have to find it out by looking dep into your content.

I still remember creating a blog and using a title called My blog as a result of which all the addson my blog were totally irrelevent to my contend but relevent to my title. They were all of blogging, free blogs and all those blogging stuff. Later when i changet the title it was fine.

I would help as well if we conduct a research into the meta tags that we are using and as you mentioned title is also as important as well.

Ya even i agree with you. I would never have any problems helping you out in that too. Hope we reach to a conclusion soon.

As per my personal thinking i feel that it does have impact. Cos when you search a particular tak in google the out put which is seen in the url bar of search page appears somewhat like [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]= Did you notice the word meta there. It means that google does use if for some or the other reason.

I don't quite get you on that. Maybe you can help to explain it in another way. So how did you actually put meta tag there? In the title?

No its not the meta tags in the title. How could you do it. Use a specific keyword related to your site or niche in your title and use appropriate metatags in the head region.

I tink thats a bit clear

Yeah ok. I think I got that. What you actually mean is that to use your chosen keywords not only in your content but emphasize it as well in your title and then relate to that in your meta tags. Thanks
