External Link Gone...Google Webmasters Tools

I tried searching answers everywhere but seems that I couldn't find it. Do you guys notice that you Google Webmasters Tools is behaving weirdly whereby all the external link is showing zero. Previously it was ok when it shows 1000+ links but recently I do not know why and it is just go down to zero. Seems that I'm not the only person having this problem. It seems to be happening randomly. Another one of my website is showing a correct stat on the number of external links.

Google is playing with new scripts as far as I can see, most likely another way to make sure people arnt using unapproved SEO companies lol, it just seems to have died for some people, give it time, should be working soon

Well, just tried it again couple of days again. The problem is still there and in fact this has been around for more than a month. I think that's the reason why they put it under Beta version.

To be honest, it would be better to use other webmaster tools (wont give links to any, each has its own pro's and con's). Ive noticed that 1/2 the information that google gives me is either wrong or missing massive chunks, always has done.

Google:

Number of visitors today - 200

Other stats with proper logs:

Number of visitors today - 340

So many differences, including bounce rate is well off

Hmmm...maybe you can give recommendation on the other webmaster tool. It would be great if you can share it here. I'm interested to find out bout it.

I mainly use AWstats and other ones which come with my site, but there are a large number of SEO out there which have alot of free tools which are better then google!

Ok. I've always stick to Google until today maybe it's time for a change. I notice there are lots of SEO tools but most of them actually uses scripts that copy each other. Somehow finding a really good one would be nice.

I have been looking more and more into these, one I use alot (mainly stats) just has little things which I need to use is [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] , gives some good stats and some nice little scripts you can use
