Broadcasters oppose Google's plan for white spaces

US government engineerrs are winding up lab tests to determine whether Google's plan to beam Internet searches over vacant airwaves ("white spaces") will interfere with digital TV signals.

This move is strongly opposed by broadcasters.

Google controlling the airwaves, kind of scary uh!
