Best Ad Placement

Ya that sounds reliable. How about the colour and link colour. Do you blend it with the content using the same colour as of text or some different colout to get peoples attraction??

And what adsense box do you use. I mean the size? A banner or box adds?

For my site I have advertised here (see my sexual link at the bottom - please note there is no adult content what so ever on my site... just rantings of a IT techy) I use 1 banner and 1 skyscraper, I didnt want to go over board with it, but I have made sure they stand out.

The main reason is to make sure they catch the eye without blinding or making you feel sick. They still make me feel like a sell out, will most likely remove them soon, they arnt really doing me any fav's

Hmmm...Nice points pointed out there. Yeah in fact if we really get the right spots, I'm sure that would make a lot of difference. One thing you didn't mention. Out of those 3 placements which you think is good, which one is really the best in terms of highest click?

Its actually quite close in hits wise, I'd say the best would be under the latest post and on the menu as these are places the reader automatically goes for

I think header and sidebar the best option to get more click. if you use this placement, i believe you can earn more click. You also can try to put at comment section. When i do that before, i get many click from that placement.

I think rather than placement the traffic would matter isant it?

Now i have descided to capture non Webmaster traffic. Cos the people who know that they are google adds would never go and click on them. But the people who dont know may suerly click on couple of them out of curosity.

May be targetting such traffic can help us a bit

Of course we need to traffic and the same time a good spot for placement. If we got many traffic but no one will click that ads. Its useless too right? Just like i face last month. got 30k impression, but only get 77 click only. Its slow earning right?

Thats too good. And what was the unique impression figure.

That should have got you a good CPM income? Isant it?

Better check out for some good paying CPM adds and use them. Youll make good bucks from them

Too bad. Its only from local visitor. Not from outside. So, not many i can earn from cpm program and my blog also not approved for widgetbucks..So, nothing i can do. I just earn from some program and make sales from my blog. I think its enough for me..

Only 16 clicks with 18,612 impressions, think like its very less number of clicks.

But if you see the other way round 16 clicks & $4.40 earning then it comes to about $0.28 a click. Not bad there

True, but it is annoying that I get alot of feedback via e-mail, and people asking me questions about earning cash for free (100% free no catches) yet no one clicks on the ad's lol
