Hotmail kinda screwed me other with this a few years back, I had a "private" e-mail which was for work stuff only, hadnt used it in a long time, but I applied for Uni and gave them THAT e-mail. In the end because I hadnt accessed the account for 6 months it had been deleted and never got any information from the Uni, so had to call them up to find out I had been rejected lol
